Offering Beginner Guitar Lessons for Children

Looking for an easy way to learn guitar for your kids? I am offering at your home lessons for children wanting to learn beginner guitar and vocals!
What We Learn:
We will go through the parts of the guitar, learn how to tune and care for your guitar, learn chords, progressions, rhythm, strum patterns, and more! With lessons and practice we will get a few songs performance ready and will share them with family and friends. If you are interested in signing your child up please contact me at this email below to coordinate date, time, and rate. I offer 30 minute and 60 minute lessons. Thank you!
My Background:
I started playing guitar, singing, and writing music at 7 years old and was very fortunate to have many years of instruction under various teaching styles throughout my formation. I participated in lessons, showcases, open mic nights, vocal lessons from esteemed vocal coaches, and put all that I learned into practice starting with my first paid gig at 13 years old. Ever since I have continued to perform, learn and grow in my music education, and sharpen my abilities. I have also worked for Live Nation Entertainment in Atlanta for a number of years after college where I learned how the professionals lived out music careers as well. I am grateful for all the experiences I have had over the last decade+ of playing and learning music and am more than happy to share what I have learned with your child. As current teacher in education during the day I have a great ability to work with students with patience and joy at their own level and adapt to their learning needs.
How lessons began?
After playing many gigs around Mt.Pleasant, Charleston, Sullivans, James Island and Johns Island, many parents asked if I gave lessons. At the time I only did performances, but with a few more inquiries and wonderful families, I accepted the offer and now have had the privilege of teaching many children all around Charleston even hosting a Spring talent show for all families. It is a great way to share the joy of music with others and help children grow in so many ways!
